Armed with a charismatic smile and sultry alto vocals, 17-year-old Traci Mnich croons a soulful spin on her songs, endearing her audiences with heart-felt expressions reminiscent of singers much more seasoned--and twice her age. Traci is an honor student in her senior year of high school. She began mimicking songs from Disney musicals at the tender age of 3, atop her staircase “stage”; then broadened her audience in middle school by performing the National Anthem at area sporting events. Traci’s talent was recognized in a local variety show, and in the 8th grade she recorded a CD-single “You Rescued Me”, composed by Daniel Kehoe.

The year 2005 began a whirlwind life for Traci when under the direction of Dan Kane she performed two sold-out concerts at the Majestic Theater in West Springfield, Massachusetts, for the release of her debut album “At Last”. In December she sang before a crowd of 5,300 at the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield, Massachusetts, as a featured soloist of The Dan Kane Singers.

This diverse and enthusiastic teenager, who’s applying to colleges to pursue a career in the medical and music fields, is a captain of her high school swim team, and sings as a cantor during masses and weddings at her church. The proceeds from her concerts are donated to people in need and to the Council for the Promotion of the Arts.
